There is an oak leaf with swords overlay on the lid with "JP" on the left in gold and "LAH" on the upper right. Gilded interior. Foreign silver hallmarks. Jeweller's monogram "KiM" 50 x 95 mm, 55 grams. Joachim Peiper (1915 - 1976), commanded the 1st Panzer Regiment of the SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, and bearer of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords.
