Smooth-coated Otter (Lutrogale perspicillata). Native to southen and SE Asia; India, China, a small population may still existin Iraq. Trained by fishermen in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Largest otter species in Asia. Vulnerable. Species written about by Gavin Maxwell in "Ring of Bright Water" 1960.
