The idea that somedmg may be given without the drunkards knowledge, to curehim, is unlikely. As a substitute for alcohol, the following may be taken: ]^ Caffeine Citrate one-grain capsules Dosh: One capsule every three hours during the capsules are to be stopped each night, two hoursbefore retiring. Diet.—The food should be light, fluid, and stimulating, suchas milk, beef tea, beef juice, and chicken soup; complete rest andthis type of food will in a few days ward off a threatened (c) HU:i.
