Army Soldiers from Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, deployed to Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa, converse with members of the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force while conducting a small arms range in the vicinity of Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Jan. 10. Currently more than 1,200 New York Army National Guard Soldiers are deployed overseas to Djibouti, Kenya, and Somalia.
