The exterior of this wallshould be finished with two coats of stucco:the first coat should be composed of cementand sand in proportions i : 3, with a verysmall percentage of lime putty added there-to to make it work easily. This coat shouldbe scratched so that it will bond firmlywith the second, or finished coat, whichshould be of cement and sand in propor-tions I : 2.
