Pro cannabis group NORML UK held a protest outside Parliament calling for reforms to laws governing the use of cannabis. Several sufferers of painful diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease and cancer gave testimony as to how cannabis helps provide relief from the pain they are suffering, often at a more cost-efficient price. They deman that the UK follows other Schngen EU countries in allowing cross-border carrying of medicinal cannabis.
