During the Lunar New Year crowds of worshipers flock to pay homage to General Che Kung, a military commander during the Song Dynasty, at Che Kung Miu in Tai Wai, Hong Kong. On the second and third of the days of the Lunar New Year, the temple attracts thousands of worshipers and visitors. These days are said to be auspicious. Worshipers go to seeking blessings of good luck, good fortune and good health.
