A 1775 engraving of the ruined St Patrick's church and armoury in Peele Castle (Cashtal Purt ny h-Inshey) , Isle of Man with a mother father and child possibly having a picnic . The castle was built in the 11th century by Vikings at the time of King Magnus Barefoot on thge site of a monastery. Peel Castle is one of the many places sited as being the original Arthurian Isle of Avalon.
