Dunkirk Lighthouse, New York


Dunkirk Lighthouse, Point Gratiot, New York, United States (New England) Directions: Take Route 60 to Dunkirk. Turn left on Lake Shore Drive. Drive about 1 mile, and turn right on Point Drive North. There will be a lighthouse sign. Travel to the end of Gratiot Point. A gift shop and museum on the property. Tours are available for the light tower of 61 feet high and the keeper's house. Point Gratiot Park is 60 acre city owned and developed park in the City of Dunkirk in Chautauqua County. The light was first established on Point Gratiot in 1827. One of the old Bottle Lights from Buffalo's breakwater currently sits on the grounds of the Dunkirk Lighthouse at Point Gratiot, New York.
