Women's groups protest in front of CBS headquarters in support of abortion and against pro-life commercial run during Superbowl

Members and supporters of the World Can't Wait and women's groups protest in front of CBS headquarters in New York on Thursday, February 4, 2010 to call on the network not to air an anti-abortion commercial during the Super Bowl. The protesters attempted to deliver boxes of signatures to CBS executives after the protest. The commercial, sponsored by Focus on the Family, features Univ. of FL Gators quarterback Tim Tebow and his mother Pam Tebow, who was advised for medical reasons to abort her pregnancy while she was a Christian missionary in the Phillippines in 1987. She did not and the baby was her son Tim, their fifth child. (© Richard B. levine)
