So far as developed there seems to be a workable bed from 7 to10 ft. thick, showing a top member of 4 ft. of hard, jaspery red andgreen oily looking rock averaging 74 per cent, bone phosphate sepa-rated by a 5-in. shaly parting from 6 ft. of soft gray oolitic rockrunning as high as 80 per cent, bone phosphate.
