In but few and restricted localities throughout the United States is broom corn grown on a commercial scale. Consequently there are but few farmers other than ihose in a few important broom corn belts who understand which are the most profitable varieties to grow, where beat to procure good seed, or how best to prepare the land, plant, cultivate, harvest, cure, bale and market the crop in such a manner as to success- compete with experienced growers in the old established broom corn belts, such as the writer is a resident of. There is at present a widespread and extensive inquiry from contemplative growers throughout the states for such information. I have prepared a 1,500 word treatise on the subject, from A to Z, and will, upon reqqest, mail a copy of same to all who purchase broom corn seed from me. Having lived in the great ''Illinois Central" broom corn belt (which is more than 40 miles square), during the past 29 years, and hav- ing during the past 16 years grown and handled broom corn brush and its seed
