ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 23, 2016) Petty Officer 1st Class Devin Aikens, from Newtonville, , prepares prime rib for Thanksgiving in the galley of the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56). Aikens serves as a culinary specialist aboard San Jacinto and is responsible for preparing and serving food for the entire crew. San Jacinto, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
