A group of bicycles parked on the bridge overlooking the terminus of the tree lined Signel Canal in Amsterdam. This is one of the canals that encircled the city in the Middle Ages. It served as a moat until 1585 when Amsterdam extended. It is the innermost canal of the semi-circular ring of canals.
