The lovingly restored Golden Zebra. This unique car is built on a Daimler 1955 DK400 chassis, number 92705. The car was originally built for Lady Norah Docker the wife of Sir Bernard Docker the head of Daimler at the time. All the bright metal is gold plated, the seats are zebra hide and the dash board, now rippled sycamore, was originally ivory. This car was rebuilt from the bottom up by John Wentworth and Daniel Chester in Oxfordshire, England and competed after Johns death by his wife Seija and Volkmar Miedtke. The whole project took over fifteen years.
