Animal therapy with pet dogs. Children playing with a dog at a centre that uses animal therapy to treat children who are at risk of, or who have suffered, abuse or neglect. The bond between the child and the dog aids the child's emotional development. It is also thought to be able break the cycle of violence, where a child that is neglected or abused may do the same to their children. This centre, in the USA, is run by the association Gabriel's Angels, founded in Arizona in 2000.
