The Special Olympics Day at the Races is an annual celebration held at the Lowes Motor Speedway and is put on by Vangie Boswell and fourteen sponsors including the North Carolina Air National Guard (NCANG). Members of the NCANG help set-up the event and pass out mementos while mingling with State Special Olympians and their families.
