Plaques placed at the top of a public staircase in the old fishing village with the promontory of Portofino on the sea horizon, Boccadasse, Liguria

Boccadasse is an old mariners' village of the Italian city of Genoa. The plaque on the left, with the drawing of the sun over the sea, presents the phrase in Latin: "In manus tuas Domine", translatable as: "In your hands, Lord". At the top right is a plaque with the inscription: "Private property" and below there is another plate with the phrase: "Stavo bene e per star meglio mi trovo qua", in English: "I was fine and to feel better I’m here", by an inhabitant of Boccadasse, Domenico Pareto.
