The Royal Navy Type 23 frigate HMS Richmond (F239) arrived at Portsmouth Naval Base, UK on the morning of 29th October 2020.


The Royal Navy frigate HMS Richmond (F239) was involved in the operation to end the attempted hijack by stowaways on board the oil tanker MV Nave Andromeda. The operation to free the ship and it's crew was successfully carried out by the Special Boat Service (Special Forces) off the Isle of Wight, UK on the 25th October 2020.
