Aerial view of the Royal Albert Hall, 1939. The Albert Hall, a concert hall seating 8000 people, was named in memory of Prince Albert. Built to designs by Francis Fowke, it was opened in 1871, 10 years after Albert's death. From the Senior Service 'Britain from the Air' cigarette card series, 1939.
