One of the best ber- ries for the market. HOUGHTON — A medium sized American variety which bears abundant and regular crops and never mildews; fruit smooth; red, tender, and very good; valuable. DOWNING — Fruit larger than Houghton, roundish, light green with distinct veins; skin smooth, flesh rather soft, juicy and very good. Vigorous and productive.
