PACIFIC OCEAN (May 12, 2017) Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Leopoldo Barrogo, from the Philippines, performs preservation operations on an F/A-18F Super Hornet from the “Bounty Hunters” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 2 in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in the western Pacific Ocean. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
