Tanner, Eunice Tanner, Covel Xickerson, Carolina Nickerson John Essex, Almeria Bly,Prudence Bly, ^lercy Babcock, SamuelHodges, Lydia Hodges, Betsey Matte-son and Daniel Osborn. Daniel Osborn was a Revolutionarysoldier having served for several yearsunder Washington. In January, 1833,the church elected Jarius Nash,deacon, and Covel Nickerson, public services and othermeetings which had been commencedin the old log schoolhouse, Dist. , were continued in the same placefor several years, until a frame buildingsurplanted the logs. In these twohouses was nurtured the tender plantwhich has since become a goodly Bennett from Forestville wasthe first settled pastor. He commencedhis work as an occassional supply, 42. REV, D. H.
