TAI HANG, HONG KONG - SEPTEMBER 13: A carrier hoists aloft the quivering and fiery incense laden head of Tai Hang's now famous Fire Dragon in Tai Hang, Hong Kong on September 13, 2011. The dragon's head is part of a 100 or so meter long serpent made of sea grass, straw and twigs which is then stuffed with burning incense. This huge effigy is then paraded through the Tai Hang district near Hong Kong's Causeway Bay. This event is performed every year around the time of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Folklore has it that this dance was first performed over a century ago to ward off a spell of bad luck and sickness in the area. The festival is performed over 3 days. (Photo by Rogan Coles)
