Construction of the Westfield shopping mall, Bradford, 2014. The site was cleared by the end of 2006. Due to the global financial downturn, the developers were unable to attract flagship department stores to the project until 2013. The site was nicknamed 'The Bradford hole.' Construction work began in January 2014.
