The dryer the weather and the hotter the sun, the more they flourish, car- peting the ground with their mat of succulent foliage, that during the fore part of the day is almost hidden by clouds of gay blossoms, in every color of the rainbow. Fine for border- ing walks, rock work and bedding. Beautiful in ribbon beds, and as they can be transplanted even in full bloom it is easy enough to remove any single or off-colored ones, and replace them with others as they bloom. 6 inches high.
