- Legend has it that these are footprints left by Guru Rinpoche who arrived the first time on a back of a tigress, who was actually his consort Yeshi Tshogyel, to subdue a local demon. The footprints are located along the trail to Taktshang Goemba, (the Tiger's Nest Monastery).
