FORT CAMPBELL, Kentucky — Blanchfield Army Community Hospital Commander, Col. Anthony L. McQueen, presents Spc. Ryan Washington the Army Commendation Medal during an award ceremony Jan. 19, for his selection as the hospital’s Soldier of the Year. Washington and fellow candidates competed in nine events including marksmanship, a physical fitness test, written exam with essay, selection board appearance, land navigation and battle drills.
