MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- A CF-18 Hornet from the 409th Tactical Fighter Squadron returns to Mountain Home after a simulated training mission Sept. 23 during Gunfighter Flags. The CF-18 Hornets from the 409th TFS out of Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada, participated as friendly Òblue airÓ forces during the exercise. Gunfighter Flag, which ran from Sept. 14 through 24, was Mountain HomeÕs first ever large-scale, multi-national exercise which brought more than 450 personnel from the Air Force, Navy and Canadian air force to Mountain Home.
