We fear that public sentiment has not beenadvancing on right lines with regard to thewhisky traffic during the last decade. Therehas undoubtedly been a great increase of sen-timent against the traffic itself, but variousexpedients for regulating it have been ontrial, and the public mind has been somewhatin suspense.
