Two wooden buildings of the Gold rush pioneering days in Cardrona is the Cardrona Hotel one of New Zealand's oldest historic hotels. The other is the Post Office & General store. The hamlet lay on the Crown Range Road in the Crown Range mountains between Arrowtown and Wanaka in Otago, New Zealand. This is one of the highest sealed roads in New Zealand.
