Zealandia conserves endemic New Zealand plants and animals in a valley just at the edge of Wellington with a high-tech fence.
Karori Wildlife Sanctuary or Zealandia conserves endemic plants and animals from New Zealand in a valley just at the edge of Wellington. To keep introduced and harmful mammals out the whole 225 hectare area is protected by a pest-exclusion fence higher than a jumping cat.
