Front pages report on the courts' knocking down the city's ban on larger than 16 ounce soda
Front pages of the New York Daily News and the New York Post on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 report on the courts' knocking down the city's ban on larger than 16 ounce soda and other sugary beverage sales which would have taken effect today. NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg initiated the ban because of the epidemic of obesity that threatens the nation but the court ruled the ban "arbitrary and capricious".. The city will appeal the judge's ruling. (© Richard B. Levine)
