MCE will be the operational element for the upcoming Balkans/Black Sea Readiness Exercise in February and contingency operations throughout the 1ID MCE area of operations. Through continuous, multinational training and security cooperation activities, Atlantic Resolve builds readiness, increases interoperability and enhances the bond between ally and partner militaries. The deployment of ready, combat-credible forces to Europe in support of Atlantic Resolve is evidence of the strong and unremitting commitment to NATO and Europe.
