VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (July 13, 2021) The “Rampagers” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 83 perform a formation flight over Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana during the squadron’s homecoming. VFA-83, part of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3 embarked on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), returns to NAS Oceana after a regularly scheduled deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in 5th and 6th Fleet.
