PACIFIC OCEAN (March 24, 2017) Culinary Specialist 2nd Class Skyler West, from Bonne Terre, Miss., cuts a cake in celebration of Women's History Month aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) while underway for composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests the mission readiness of the strike group's assets through simulated real-world scenarios and their ability to perform as an integrated unit.
