The Red-footed Booby (Sula sula), the smallest of the three booby species found in the Galapagos Islands.

The Red-footed Booby (Sula sula) is the smallest of the three booby species found in the Galapagos, but is probably more numerous than the blue-footed booby. As well as their red feet, other coloration includes a blue bill and white to brown plumage. Red-footed Boobies are the only ones to nest in trees, and are even more awkward than other boobies on land. Their courtship involves typical booby skypointing. Their range takes them far offshore and to islands from Mexico to Ecuador, feeding far out to sea, though still within flying distance of their island nests.
