A church marked by tragedy called The Church of Sao Domingos right in the heart of Lisbon, Portugal.


This church still bears the scars of past tragadies in earthquakes and fires. One can still notice the scorched pillars and permeating 1950 it was partially destroyed by a fire and has since undergone restoration. There is an African community clustered in the church area today because this church has had a black priest. The church of Sao D omingos is in the Baixa area of Lisbon (Lisboa).
