Indian carving in the Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park


Water, ice and wind eroded the sandstone along the Milk River to produce the hoodoos and cliffs that are part of the Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park in Canada where people carved petroglyphs in the rock. Nachdem Wind, Regen und Frost am heutigen Milk River in der kanadischen Provinz Alberta die Hoodoos genannten Sandstein-Reliefs des heutigen Weltkulturerbes Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park geformt hatten, gravierten Menschen viele Jahrhunderte Petroglyphen in den Fels.
