Centenaire de l'Algerie: 1830-1930


Art by Léon Cauvy (born January 12, 1874 in Montpellier (Hérault) died January 3, 1933 in Algiers) was a French painter. In 1930 he made the poster for the centenary of the French presence in Algeria. Edition of 30 000 copies it is broadcast worldwide to ensure the influence of France but also of Cauvy whose fame is international. He then made other posters for shipping companies that provide the service lines for tourists in Algeria.
