Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik offers prayers at the Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple during its annual festival in Tullamulla. Thousands of Kashmiri Hindus, many of whom were fled more than two decades ago attended the festival to worship the Hindu Goddess Mata Khirbhawani at Tulmulla area of Ganderbal some 24 Kms from summer capital Srinagar on the day of her birth. Kashmiri Pandits fled the Kashmir region in the early nineties.
