Does not seem to be well known but I consider it one of the best dark reds. NANCY HANKS. (Sal) (Com) (Dec) Apricot shading to orange pink. Heavy red pencilings on the lip. Several large well placed blooms open. Very distinctive, showy and popular. OCTOBER. (K) (Dec) Very large beautiful deep old rose flaked darker. A fine variety that is liked by everyone who sees it. ODALISQUE. (Ex) (Com) Large creamy white with scarlet blotches. Somewhat similar to M. M. Sully but taller, stronger grower. 7-10 blooms open. Very fine. OLIVE GOODRICH. (Goodrich) (Com) White tinted light pink shading darker at the edges. Pale yellow throat. Several open. Tall, strong plant with long spike. Will make a fine commercial variety. ONETA. (Kemp) (Prim. Grand.) (Dec) Orange. Very tall strong growing plant. One of the best orange varieties. OPALESCENT. (Bill) (Com) Pale lavender with darker line in the throat. Fine propagator. Good commercial.
