Albert Hayden's lumber plant at Wood- stock, N. B., was burned last week causing s loss of $30,000. At Shulee, N. S., Robinson, Wright & Co., have lost six thousand acres of forest by fires. E. J. White, of Sand River, and the Shulee Lumber Co., also had large tracts burnt up. Murray & Gregory's big saw-mill at St. John, N. R , together with over two million leet of lumber, and a house and barn near the mill were destroyed by fiie on Ju'y 4th. The mill is said to be insured, but the loss will be quite heavy, and a large number of men will be thrown out of employment.
