The lighting distributor cables are laid throughouton the Callenders solid system in wooden troughing filled withbitumen, and consist of three single cables with a pressure of 480volts between the outers. A total length of 13 miles of dis-tributors has been laid in the district. Three core pilot and tele-phone cables are also laid to the extreme ends of the district forboth lighting and traction purposes.
