FORT IRWIN, Calif. – A Main Battle Tank from Dealer Troop, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, scans the battlefield during the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division’s assault through the National Training Center’s “Whale Gap,” April 9, 2017. The Blackhorse Regiment serves as the NTC’s opposition force, training Army Brigade Combat Teams, thoroughly preparing the rotational unit for any contingency operation.
