The memorial stone for the victims of national socialism was erected in 1953 on the north-eastern plaza on Hardenbergstrasse using stones of the destroyed synagogue on Fasanenstrasse with the inscription: "1933-1945 / Den Opfern des Nationalsozialismus. The stone is the earliest West Berlin monument for Nazi victims.
