Hill, the Empirebuilder, and is also organizer and general managerof the Pacific National Dairy Show Association, andis vice-president of the Peninsular Industrial Com-pany, a director in the Portland Cattle Loan Com-pany, director in the Portland Publishing Company,vice-president of the Pacific Coast Immigration Con-. There is a renewed interest in live stock produc-tion, not only in the United States, but all over theworld, says Mr. Lively. Even China and Japanare going in heavily for pure bred live stock. Withthe liberal treatment of the live stock department bythe Panama-Pacific International Exposition Com-pany and the co-operation of the leaders in live stockproduction everywhere, the live stock display at SanFrancisco in 1915 should be truly international in itscharacter and an outstanding feature, one that willattract the attention of the world. The great improvement that has been made intypes in all divisions of live stock will be shown inthe display that will be made at San Francisco. In the live stock department there will
