They are fine for naturalizing in beds or borders, because they are perfectly hardy and multiply rapidly. Also splendid for growing in pots or pans. The 'Incomparabilis' have crowns or cups measuring from one-third to nearly the length of the perianth segments. The 'Barri' have cups less than one-third the segment petals and the 'Leedsi' have white perianths with the cups white, pale citron, or tinted with salmon or apricot. Autocrat (Incomparabilis).
