Mr. De Wever said that he thought it best to call a meeting of all the pot plant growers and to get their views on what can be done to better the condi- tions of those interested in the pot plant business. Then came a general discussion upon the remarks of the chairman, in which all took part and gave their views on the betterment of conditions of those in the pot i)lant business. At the conclusion of the discussion, Chairman De Wever called upon Secretary Ammann, who re- sponded with an interesting talk and gave his views on how to proceed in the aim of the pot plant growers. After a lengthy discussion on tlie re- marks of Mr. Ammann, it was by motion decided that Chairman De Wever report the proceedings of the meeting at the quarterly meeting of the St. Louis dis- trict of the National Flower Growers' Association, at Peoria, 111., October 18.
