A spike of juvenile road mortalities occurred in late August. Overall, more individuals were killed in the early summer months (up to mid-July) than late in the summer. The highest numbers of road mortalities occur where there are large ponds adjacent to both sides of the highway (Figure 5). Road locations 22 and 33 - 34 occur where the highway divides 2 kettle ponds.
